Botox® is FDA-approved to make frown lines, crow’s feet, and expression lines look better in men and women experiencing signs of aging. Dr. Kristi Hustak and the team of nurse injectors at the Aesthetic Center for Plastic Surgery offer Botox® to their patients.
WHAT IS BOTOX®?
Botox® is an injectable that works to temporarily relax the muscles of the face such as crow’s feet, forehead lines, and lines between the eyebrows. By relaxing the muscles, some wrinkles on the face, such as those in the forehead area are softened. Botox® works to relax those muscles for a few months so that the skin can also relax.
BENEFITS OF BOTOX®
- Quick office visit with no downtime
- Results may last several months or longer*
- Muscles typically relax within a week*
WHAT CAN I EXPECT FROM BOTOX®?
When you meet with one of our nurse injectors they will discuss your concerns and map out a treatment plan for your specific needs. They are trained to locate and target the muscles that cause wrinkles. Botox® is administered with a small needle at several injection sites. It may take up to a week to see full results after your treatment. The results of Botox® treatments can last four to six months, but this varies by patient.
AM I A GOOD CANDIDATE FOR BOTOX®?
Each patient has unique needs, so it is difficult to say if you are a good candidate without a consultation. Dr. Hustak and her team of nurse injectors will ask questions about your concerns, goals and medical history, with that they can determine your candidacy for Botox®.
