Each therapist has been trained not only in the craft, but is familiar with Dr. Hustak’s surgical techniques and areas to focus on for the most benefit. Besides feeling great, massages are an excellent way to reduce swelling, reduce pain, and break up fibrotic scar tissue that is forming to make the surgical result that much more refined. Dr. Hustak schedules these around 4 weeks post-operatively for most procedures as she has found that is the optimal time from a pain and healing standpoint to be of the most benefit.
